Warren Fay Lont, 73, of Great Bend, PA, entered into eternal rest with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on Monday, March 14, 2016 at the home of his daughter, Alison Boorujy. Surviving are his wife, Nancy Lont; his children, Alison (CAPT James) Boorujy of Watertown, WI, and Jonathan (Jennifer) of Carleton, MI; siblings, Dr. Wallace E. (Nancy) Lont of Winter Haven, FL, Dr. Frederick (Hope) Lont of Camillus, NY, Kenneth (Ellen) Lont of Easley, SC, Kathryn (Dale) Bower of Auburn, NY; sisters and brothers-in-law, Patricia Rinker of Montrose, PA, Roger Rinker of Hallstead, PA, Francis (Helen) Rinker of Ormond Beach, FL, David (Kim) Rinker of Hallstead, PA, Kenneth (Carolyn) Rinker of Hallstead, PA, Sandra Rinker of Springville, PA, and Becky (Steven) Cole of Lynchburg, VA; many nieces and nephews. Warren always loved and appreciated his 8 grandchildren: Abigail, Emily, Katherine, James, Jr., Joseph, and Luke Warren Boorujy; Andrew and William Lont. He is preceded in death by his father and mother, Wallace and Lillian Lont; father and mother- in-law, George and Lena Rinker, Louis Timmermans; uncle and aunt Frank and Frances White; brothers-in-law Donald Rinker and Frank Rinker; sister-in-law Priscilla Rinker. Warren was an active member at First Baptist Church, Hallstead, PA for nearly 45 years. He worked 15 years at Broome County Children’s Services and 25 years for the USPS, Binghamton, NY. He had a great burden for prenatal children. We appreciate God leading us to the following doctors and staffs: Drs O. Ahmed, Barrett, J. Farrell, Ronald Harris, Lerman, Lethin, N. Rosa; Froedthert Hospital (Milwaukee), Drs. Kleczka, Asim Mohammed, Nunzio, and their Teams; the Staff at Watertown Hospital (WI); Marquardt Home Health and Hospice. They have been a special blessing and encouragement to us; many thanks to them for their excellent care. A private interment will be made in Rose Hill Cemetery. A memorial service will be held Friday, May 13, 2016, 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Hallstead, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Handicap Access Fund at First Baptist Church, 108 Pine St., PO Box N, Hallstead, PA 18822 or National Right to Life. Psa 27:14 "Wait for the LORD; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the LORD!" 1 Thess 4:13 We do "not grieve as others do who have no hope."
