RUSSELL M. CARPENTER Russell M. Carpenter, 81, of New Milford, PA entered into rest on January 4, 2022. He is the son of the late George and Mildred Carpenter; also predeceased by a brother, Gordon; and a sister, Esther. Russell leaves behind his beloved wife of 61 years, Judy; his children, George Carpenter, Steven Carpenter, Paul (Tracey) Carpenter; 13 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; a brother, Milton Carpenter and Clarence (Martha) Carpenter; two sisters, Rachel Sholes and Marybelle Okrzesik; and many nieces and nephews. Russell was self employed as a carpenter. He enjoyed working with wood, fishing with his great grandson, mowing hay, hunting, gardening, going to the races to watch his grandson race. He was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend who was always willing to help someone in need. A special thanks and in warm appreciation for all the compassionate care from Melody Miller. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 7, 2022 at the Tuttle-Yeisley Funeral Home, Inc., Hallstead, PA. Spring interment will be made in the North Jackson Cemetery. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday.
