Rose I. English Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Rose I. English, 87, of Liberty Township, PA passed away November 30, 2021 at her home. Rose is survived by her loving children, Nancy and Arnett Leftenant, Windsor, NY, Neil Lawton (Audrey’s husband), Vestal, NY, Janet and Ty Reiter, Louisville, OH, Judy Crocker, Binghamton, NY, Patricia Griffis, Apalachin, NY, John and Ruth English, Hallstead, PA, Mark and Sara English, Millersburg, PA; 15 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by loving husband of 53 years, John J. English; daughter, Audrey Lawton; sisters, Claudia Lindsey and Betty Frederick; brother, Donald Allen; and parents, Claude and Violet Allen. Rose was a long time member of Stanfordville Baptist Church where she served as treasurer and in the nursery for many years. Rose’s faith in Jesus Christ provided tremendous strength to her throughout the years. It is a great comfort to her and her family that she is now at peace and in the presence of her Savior. Rose was a loving wife and mother. Rose’s children would like to send a special thank you to her care givers Zara Malik, Mary Madison, and Erica Johnson. Their high level of care and compassion shown to our mother was greatly appreciated. Knowing our mom’s care was in their hands gave us daily comfort. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, December 4, 2021 at Stanfordville Baptist Church with Pastor Philip Hunt officiating.
