    Paul Marshall Nulton

    May 24, 1939 - January 3, 2022

    Paul M. Nulton 82, of Hallstead, PA, passed away on January 3rd, 2022 at Geisinger Hospital in Danville PA after a brief illness. He was born on May 24,1939 in Andover, NJ, to the late Gerald Nulton and Pauline (Drake) Nulton. Paul is survived by his beloved son, Wade M Nulton of Flanders, NJ and Wade’s mother, Nancy White of Whippany, NJ. Also surviving is a sister, Geraldine Reed of Montrose, PA and numerous nieces and nephews. Paul is predeceased by his twin sisters, Jeanette Clark and Joyce Egli. Extended family includes Matthew and Tia Hilbert of Stevensville Pa and their six children with whom Paul shared a special bond born of respect and joy in each other’s life. Paul was a Master Craftsman with his work and interests being vast and varied. He owned and operated Chem Clean Furniture Restoration Center in Great Bend PA for years restoring furniture to it’s original beauty. In addition, he restored carousel horses and church pews for many churches in the PA and NY area. Paul also handcrafted miniature furniture that was featured in craft shows and many doll magazines under the name of Sunset Small Stuff. He was an avid pilot and also worked on Ultralight Aircraft construction and painting for Loehle Aircraft in Tennessee. In later years he turned his attention to glass repair and polishing and also created ornamental cut glass pieces. He was often a featured guest at antique shows which led to him doing work for Corning Glass Works. Paul enjoyed hunting, stockcar racing, and flying Ultralight aircraft. At age 81 he drove a 600 hp race car on a 20 mile drive on the famous Nascar Pocono Speedway. He was a US Army Veteran and a former member of the Great Bend Masonic Lodge and Great Bend Elk’s Club. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Saturday, February 19, 2022 at the Tuttle-Yeisley Funeral Home, Hallstead, PA. Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home, prior to the service.
