Lillian E. Carr Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Lillian E. Carr, 84, of Great Bend, PA was called home to be with the Lord on September 24, 2020 at home with her loving family by her side. She was predeceased by her husband of 45 years, Thomas in 2001. Lillian is survived by her children, Kathy Ackley (David), Sandy (Aubrey) Elbrecht, and James (Mindi) Carr; five grandchildren, Laura (Dan), Bradley, Shannon (Trevor), Emalee, and Aleks; great grandchildren, Mac and Jackson; a sister, Carol Ann (Fred) Roe; a brother, Charles (Robin) June; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Ruth, Dorothy, and Arthur. Lillian was a devoted wife and mother. She was anxiously anticipating the arrival of a third great grandchild. Lillian was secretly very generous, gifting those in need. She had a special place in her heart for the animals in shelters. Lillian was known as the “Cookie Lady” in Kime Apartments. She enjoyed sewing, reading, and puzzle books. Lillian loved being surrounded by her family and friends. Her departure leaves a void in her family that will never be filled. The family will hold a private service for her at the Tuttle-Yeisley Funeral Home, Inc. A Celebration of Her Life will be held at the Green Gables Pavilion beginning at 1:00 p.m., October 3, 2020.
