John Michael Gaughan
June 25, 1957 - January 15, 2022
John Michael Gaughan 64 of Hallstead. PA. went home to be with the Lord on January 15, 2022. He was predeceased by his father, Joseph C. Gaughan Sr.; his mother, Teresa A. Gaughan; and a brother, Danny; and is now once again reunited with them in Heaven. He is survived by his Best Friend & Twin Brother Chuck; brothers, Tim, Tom, Joe & wife Cindy; Special Best Buddy and nephew, Ethan; a niece, Elizabeth and husband A. Tomas Guerrero their children Theo & Josie; nephew, Danny & Kate; nephew, Connor; and a Special Friend Kathy Wilbur. John was employed since the age of 18, was always a very hard worker and went above and beyond at any task or employment he had. He was employed by Singer Link Flight Simulation 1981-1996, Chuck's Cleaning Service 1996-2020, and Blue School District 2007-2020 John's love for Hawaii is unsurpassed by anyone. In the early 1990's he was fortunate to have been able to live there for 6 weeks at a time for several years straight and always filled with the Aloha Spirit with his warmth in caring with no obligation in return. He loved to to talk and share this with others . He loved story telling and reminiscing about the past. His hobbies included people watching and sitting out with his dog Gizmo, avid video gamer, and enjoyed Classic TV Sitcom reruns from the 1960's and 1970's. He was a former member of Hallstead Blue Stone Masonic Lodge 338. He was always willing to help others, always gave without taking, foregoing any of his needs, lending an ear to listen without judgement and always eager to please. He will always be remembered for his genuine heartwarming sincerity and always present, warm welcoming smile. He was greatly loved and will be missed by everyone that had a chance to be blessed his presence. In lieu of flowers, please consider memorial contributions to the Tuttle-Yeisley Funeral Home, Inc.
