Irene Belcher, 63, of Harford, was called home on December 10, 2016 at the Hospice of the Sacred Heart in Dunmore, PA. She is survived by her husband of 34 years, James Belcher; two sons James G.(Kari) Belcher and Michael (Catia) Belcher; two granddaughters Lila and Flora Belcher; her brothers James (Barbara) Vanore, Armand (Marianne) Vanore and John (Debbie) Vanore; Mother-in-law Marlene Peck; Sisters-in-law Robin Belcher and Brenda(Frank) Payne; Many nieces and nephews. Irene graduated from Villanova University with her registered nursing degree and from Wilkes University with her bachelor degree in nursing. She owned DCMP case management company in Wilkes-Barre and Pittsburgh. She was very devoted to the divine mercy ministry at St. Lawrence Catholic Church and other committees. She loved her family and helping others. Irene was athletic and always accepted a challenge. She loved traveling, Theater, painting, horseback riding and flyfishing. All memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at 11 AM at Saint Lawrence Catholic church, in Great Bend, PA. Memorial contributions may be made in Irene's honor to St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 380 Franklin St., Great Bend, PA 18821 or the Hospice of Sacred Heart, 100 William St., Dunmore, PA 18510.
