ESTHER M. HACKEL Esther M. Hackel, 78, of Susquehanna, PA died Tuesday in the Hospice of the Sacred Heart Facility in Dunmore, surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her devoted husband of 61 years, Raymond Hackel. Also surviving are two children, John and Dee Hackel and Connie and Steve Winnie; one sister, Ida Chidester; two brothers, Lynn and Barb Abbott and Dennis and Patty Abbott; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Esther’s greatest entertainment was raising flowers in her garden. She was an excellent wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Esther will be missed dearly. The family will receive friends from 3-5 p.m., Friday, February 27, 2015 at the Tuttle-Yeisley Funeral Home, Inc., Hallstead, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of the Sacred Heart, 100 Williams Street, Dunmore, PA 18512.
