Edward H. Turner Jr. Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Edward H. Turner, Jr., 82, of New Milford, PA entered into rest on January 30, 2022. He was predeceased by his wife of 47 years, AnnMarie; his two sons, Edward John Turner and William Charles Turner; and a grandson, Anthony Simpson. Ed is survived by five children, Dorinna (Ron) Lee, Paula (Ken) Wadsworth, Geannine (Mike Peters) Turner, Elizabeth Levan, and Gregory Turner; six grandchildren, Aubrey, Melissa, Caitlyn, Zachary, Daisy, and Briar; three great grandchildren; a step daughter, Loretta (Mark) Magno; and three nieces and nephews. Ed graduated from Sewanhaka High School in 1957 and entered the United States Coast Guard. He began his career in construction in NYC. Then he moved into truck driving, working for Roadway Trucking. Ed and AnnMarie moved to New Milford in 1970 and he went to work for Penguin Publishing Group. Upon retiring, he worked at the Sunoco station to interact with people. For a short time, Ed had a motorcycle license and enjoyed rides in the country. He was an avid reader and enjoyed puzzles, to keep his mind active and sharp. Ed’s greatest pleasure was the time he spent with his grandchildren. At his request, his body will be donated to science and medical training and there will be no public services at this time.
