Darlene "Dar" M. Gumaer

Darlene “Dar” Gumaer, 58, of New Milford, PA entered into rest on December 31, 2021 at home. She is the daughter of the late Kenneth W. and Susanna Gumaer. Dar is survived by her siblings, Pat (Dean) Baker, Kenny (Bonnie) Gumaer, and Diane (Sammy) Darrow; an aunt, Beatrice Cook; nieces and nephews, Nick, Shawn (Kim), Adam, Jessica (Jeremy), Kristin (Jeremy), Matt, Kenny, Brock, Neil, Nathan, Chrissy, and Britney; many great nieces, great nephews, and cousins; and her life long friend, Kathy Crandall. Dar enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards, camping, mowing her lawn, and being outside. She cherished her visits with Di and Sammy. She faithfully watched football, especially when “Her” Eagles played. Fluffy and Bear, her faithful companion dogs will be looking for her everywhere. Dar had a zest for life, even with her diagnosis and cancer battle, lasting for 7.5 years, she just never let it get her down. The family wishes to express their deepest appreciation to Dr. Harris and Debbie at Broome Oncology and Hospice of the Sacred Heart for their dedication and tender care. A funeral service will be held at 6:00 p.m., Friday, January 7, 2022 at the Tuttle-Yeisley Funeral Home, Inc., Hallstead, PA. Spring interment will be made in Maple Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-6 p.m. at the funeral home on Friday, prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Tuttle-Yeisley Funeral Home, Inc., P.O. Box 936, Hallstead, PA 18822 to assist with her final expenses.
