ARTHUR L. SNYDER Arthur L. Snyder, 67, was called home to be with the Lord on May 20, 2014 at his daughter’s home. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Sandra May in March 2010, a son, Arthur L. Snyder Jr. in 2001, and a sister, Shirley Snyder Franklin in 2000. Arthur is survived by two daughter, Brenda and Keith Petersen and Leslie Snyder and Carl Gelatt; seven grandchildren, Phillip Petersen, Nick Petersen, John Snyder, Donald Snyder, Kyle Gelatt, Brittany Gelatt, and Briana Gelatt; four great grandchildren, Phillip Petersen Jr., Kiersten Petersen, Mason Petersen, and Eric Snyder; two brothers, Clarence Snyder Jr. and Robert Snyder; and several nieces and nephews. Arthur proudly served with the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He loved hunting and fishing. Prior to his retirement, he was employed with Bendix for more than twenty years. Arthur treasured spending time with his kids, grandkids, family, and friends. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at noon, at the Tuttle-Yeisley Funeral Home, Inc., Hallstead, PA. Interment will be made in Brookdale Cemetery. Friends may call from 10 until the beginning of the service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions in his memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 13 Beech Street, Johnson City, NY 13790.
