ARNOLD “ARNIE” C. BUTTON Arnold “ARNIE” C. Button, 83, of Jackson Township, entered into rest on March 12, 2022 at home, having been surrounded by his loving family. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 60 years Audrey in 2018. Arnold is survived by his daughter, Kim and David Rinker; his son, Randy (Cheryl) Button; 5 grandchildren, Lane Schaffer, Melissa (Steven) Demarest, Michelle (Corey) Sinnett, Nicole Button, and Jason Button; 5 great grandchildren, Layla, Caitlin, Skylar, Kylie, and Steven; sisters, Delores Goff and Janice Hawk; a brother, Richard (Sandy) Button; in-laws, Linda (Lynn) Joines and Connie (Blaine) Detwiler, and Gus Jicha; and a truck load of beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and very dear friends. Arnold was a skilled driver and had more than 40 years as a commercial truck driver earning an award for driving a Million Safe Miles. He was a quite story teller and often caused side splitting laughter to the point of bringing tears. Arnold was a dedicated husband, dad, and papa/grandpa. When he retired in 2001, he was happy to be home with his family. He spent his time mowing his lawn, cutting wood, gardening, and spending quality time with Audrey. The family wishes to express their heartfelt appreciation to dad’s extraordinary caregivers who gave him the ability to stay home. Their kindness, compassion, and skill were unprecedented and will always be remembered. We graciously acknowledge the nurses of Hospice Sacred Heart. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, March 18, 2022 at the Tuttle-Yeisley Funeral Home, Inc. Spring interment will be made in Lake View Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 1-3 p.m., prior to the service. Should friends so desire, expressions of sympathy may take the form of a donation to the Gibson United Methodist Church, 46 Church Road, Gibson, PA 18820.
