THOMAS MEDOVICH Thomas Medovich, 79, of Hallstead, PA entered into rest on February 5, 2025 with his loving family by his side. Tom is survived by his beloved wife of almost 32 years, Judy; by his children, Kelly (Brian) Nannery, Sean Jonpaul, Jamie (Chris Fair) Lord, Jennifer Lord, Jeremy Lord, and Jonn (Ginny) Lord; 9 grandchildren, Liam Nannery, Aiden Nannery, Alana Nannery, Sojourna Jonpaul, Henry Keller, Ian (Kaitlyn) Townend, Madison Lord, Richard Lord, and Trinity Lord; two great grandchildren, Charlotte and Liam Townend; a brother-in-law, Maurice May; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his first wife, Rose Daly Medovich; his father, Alexander (Margaret) Medovich; his mother, Elizabeth Wage; his sister, Roberta May; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Stuart and Dorothy Burton; and by many cherished pets over the years. Tom was currently working at Rob’s Market and worked for Lord’s Landscaping. His prior employment included, the United States Postal Service, Anitec, IBM, Endicott Interconnect, and Dollar General. Tom served with the United States Army as a paratrooper during Vietnam. Tom loved being a prankster and bringing a smile to everyone he knew and loved. Tom made an effort to stay in touch with everyone and would unexpectedly show up to visit and catch up with friends and family. The family will always smile when they see pink flamingos in yards, oddly placed lawn chairs and porch furniture, cough drop wrappers, or coffee cups in the mailbox. The family wishes to express their appreciation to Wilson Hospital for not only his care, but also the compassion and support showed to his entire family. They also appreciate the medical support they have received in Broome County over the years, Oncology, Cardiology, and Urology. The family will receive friends from 3-5 p.m. on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at the Tuttle-Yeisley Funeral Home, Inc., Hallstead, PA. There will be a time for sharing memories at 5:00 p.m., following calling hours. There will be a Celebration of Life for him in the spring. Should friends so desire, please consider memorial contributions to your local Humane Society.
