JUANITA SANDERS Juanita Sanders, 81, of New Milford, PA peacefully entered into rest on April 24, 2025 surrounded by her family. She is the daughter of the late Seymour and Geraldine Sanders. Also predeceased by her daughter, Katherine Button in 2015; and by her grandson Roy Marvin in 2015; her siblings, William Sanders and Priscilla Parsons. Juanita is survived by her children, Harry (Angela) Marvin Jr., Bill (Kathia) Marvin, Janet (Tommy) Shelton, Carolyn (Jerry) Grausgruber; siblings, Mina Smallacomb, Roy (Darlene) Sanders, Pamela (Millard) Hall; grandchildren, Harry Marvin III, Johna Kelley, Erin Shelton, Tyler Marvin, Jessica Marvin, Brendan Marvin, Anthony Grausgruber, James Grausgruber, Danielle Grausgruber, and Stephanie Button; and numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family members. A loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, friend, and member of her community, Juanita's life was a beautiful example of selflessness, courage, strength, and kindness. Her passions centered around faith, family, and helping others. She was a proud and active member of the First Baptist Church, New Milford, PA and could always be counted on to lend a helping hand—often before one was even asked for. Juanita had a gift for making things beautiful. She was a talented cook and baker, known for preparing meals and treats that brought comfort and joy to so many. A master crafter, she spent countless hours creating thoughtful gifts and decorations, especially for the community she loved so dearly. Her creations were more than just handmade. Every stitch, every sweet treat, carried her warmth and care. Juanita also loved playing BINGO, where her competitive spirit and bright smile made her a favorite among friends. Despite facing her own trials and tribulations, Juanita remained unwavering in her dedication to others. Her warmth, generosity, and tireless spirit touched the lives of everyone who knew her. What she cherished most in life was making memories with her loved ones and spreading happiness through simple, heartfelt gestures. She leaves behind a family forever grateful for her sacrifices and inspired by her strength. While our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in knowing that her legacy lives on through the lives she shaped, the love she gave, and the memories we hold dear. She will be missed beyond measure and remembered always—with love, with gratitude, and with deep admiration. A Celebration of her life will be held at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, April 27, 2025 at the Tuttle-Yeisley Funeral Home, Inc., Hallstead, PA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2-4, Sunday, prior to the service.
