JOHN D. SINGER John D. Singer, 82, of Hallstead, PA was reunited with his beloved wife, the late Shirley Singer on September 13, 2015. He is survived by three children, Sandi and Keith Lord, Michael and Marie Singer, and Patrick and Susan Singer; seven grandchildren, Joshua and Victoria Singer, Jeremy and Beth Singer, Justin and Tiffany Lord, Melissa and Matt Petrus, Tiffany and Cory VanSant, Danielle Singer and Ben Valliere, Eric Singer and Misty Bogan; eight great grandchildren, Brinden, Kyliegh Lord, Dakota, Savannah Singer, Leeloo, Laila Singer, Landon Petrus, Cale VanSant, and McKinnley Bogan; three brothers, Kenneth and Kay, Gary and Pat, and Evans and Lola Singer; two sisters, Linda Rockwell and Nancy Coddington; in-laws, Harold and Barb Stockholm, Lois Sherman, and Ted and Sue Stockholm; multiple cousins, nieces and nephews; three close friends, JoAnn Torma, Bob Elliott, and Ron Strong. John was predeceased by his parents, Kenneth and Alice Singer, a brother, Wayne Singer, and two great grandchildren, Matthew and Lillyan Singer. John was self employed as a blue stone quarryman. He enjoyed hunting and collecting eagles and any items labeled “Singer.” The family wishes to extend their deep appreciation to Trehab Home Services, Doreen, Robin, and Carrie, Pastor Jen and the United Methodist Community Church family, Hospice of the Sacred Heart nurses, Lindsey, Lois, and Helen, Susquehanna County Office of the Aging, advocate, Cortney McGee, assisting in keeping John independent, and Henry of Life Force, sent to be John’s care giver in his final days. A funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Thursday, September 17, 2015 at the Tuttle-Yeisley Funeral Home, Inc. Hallstead, PA. Friends may call from 3-4 p.m., prior to the service. The family will provide flowers, please consider memorial contributions in John’s memory to the United Methodist Community Church, United Methodist Women Skylake Scholarship Fund, P.O.
