Ellen Kelley

Ellen Alene (Stevens) Kelley Passed on to forever be with her Lord and Savior on July 17, 2014 Ellen was born on April 4, 1939 in Harpursville, NY to Emma (Alene) and Ivan Stevens, who have both preceded her in death. Ellen was a graduate of Harpursville High School where she was involved in Chorus, Drama Club, Band Front and where she made many lifelong friends. She was also predeceased by her husband, Carl D. Kelley, youngest son, Dean P. Kelley and daughter-in-law, Jennifer J. Kelley as well as her younger sister Sandra L. Pilkington. Ellen is survived by and will be greatly missed by her remaining 4 children Wendy and Paul Dudley, Mark and Ann Zucha, Jamie Kelley, April Kelley and John Seaman, as well as her grandchildren and great grandchildren, Lora MacDonald Hoffman and family, Megan MacDonald, Kevin MacDonald and family, Elizabeth Dudley, Vern Hall and family, Tanya Hall, Kylee Kelley, Jared Kelley, Rebecca Kelley, Devon Kelley, Taylor Kelley, Cheyenne Kelley, and Evan Seaman. In addition, she is also survived by her sisters, Roberta Mikolaichik and husband Steve, Tami Rude and husband Danny, and Debi Vincent. Ellen lived a life that was full. Even when life was full of grief or discouraging circumstances she was able to go on and hold on to the promises of God. Ellen was well known for her sense of humor and quick wit. Although she was often chiding and instigating her only motive was to bring a smile to her opponent. Her participation at Watson Hill Bible Church in singing, vacation bible schools, ladies group etc. seemed to keep her in tune every day. The empty spot in the pew where she always sat will be a void that can never be filled the same way again. The love she shared for others will be passed on to the generations she leaves behind as we all smile when thinking of her gentle and loving face. Services at Ellen’s directive will be held at Watson Hill Bible Church at 3878 SR 492 New Milford, PA. The family will receive those who wish to attend for a viewing during the hours of 2:00PM and 4:00PM on Saturday, July 19th with funeral service immediately following. Arrangements are being handled by Tuttle-Yeisley Funeral Home. Funeral services will be officiated by Pastor James Major of Watson Hill Bible Church.
