Diane L. Kramer

DIANE L. KRAMER Diane L. Kramer, 78, of New Milford, PA entered into rest on May 20, 2024. She is the daughter of the late Herbert and Shirley Wheeler. She was also predeceased by her sisters, Dorthea Wheeler and Becky Bryden; and a grandson, Nathan Grover. Diane is survived by her children, Cheryl Whitney, James (Kathy) Whitney, and Edythe (Brian Frisbie) Whitney; grandchildren, Randy Grover (Kelly), Sara (David) Clark, Sam (Kaitlyn) Whitney, Melissa Whitney, Kathryn Diane (Joseph Comings) Whitney, Casey Randall, Craig Randall, Emma Frisbie, Mackenzie (Angelina) Munifo; great grandchildren, Rachel Grover, Victor Grover, Oliver Grover, Grace, Madison Halstead, Scarlet Stermensky, Raven Mellor, Luca Munifo; three brothers, Lester Isby, Keith Wheeler, and Jim Milsted; sisters, Pam Harvey and Penny Milsted; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members. Diane had an internal drive to care for others, which lead her to become an LPN and work at Barnes-Kasson Hospital, retiring after 35 years. She enjoyed her work in the hospital and caring for patients. She was grateful to be there in her final days. She would often welcome people into her home who needed a break or a good conversation with a friend. She had a green thumb and brought many seemingly dead plants back to flourishing. Diane cared for cats, feeding feral cats, adopting strays, and keeping tabs on all her family members’ cats as well. She was an avid fan of Coca Cola and Hallmark movies. Her family members held a special place in her heart. She always put the needs of her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren first. She was anxiously awaiting the arrival of her first great great grandson in June. Diane was deeply loved and will be severely missed. The family wishes to express their appreciation to Dr. B. Patel, Laquoia nurse’s aide, and the staff of Barnes-Kasson Hospital for their care and making her feel peaceful being in her “second home” again. At her request, there will be no public services.
