DALE W. JESSE Dale W. Jesse, 81, New Milford, PA ascended with grace on March 8, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. Dale is survived by his wife of almost 48 years, Dee; by his children, Dawn Busch, Penny (Deon) Steffani, MiChel (Mat) Bickford, Bobbie (Todd) McCain; twelve grandchildren, Jeromy, Jessie, Riley, Judy, Ashley, Michael, Devan, Paul Jr., Brandon, Raelene, Coleman, and Leigha; great grandchildren, Deron, Kolten, Sawyer, Kendra, Shelby, Logan, Kylee Rose, Jeremiah, Carmine, Tristan; sister, Anne (John) Rost; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, and very dear cousins. He was predeceased by his father, Harold; his mother and step father, Ina and Rupert Turrell; his brother, Dwight Jesse; his beloved daughter, Tina Sieben; cherished son, James Jesse; two precious grandchildren, Cody Steffani and Tyler Cisneros. Dale was also anxiously awaiting the birth of another great grandson, Gryffin Xavier. Dale worked as a Deputy Sherriff in the Pima County Sherriff’s office while living in Tucson, AZ. Dale and Dee moved their family to Pennsylvania in 1978. He spent 17 years working for Singer Link. Dale enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing, riding his motorcycle, and singing. He was a member of the United Methodist Community Church, Great Bend, PA, a member of the Bluestone Masonic Lodge #338, a member of the American Legion Post #357 and Past Commander of the Sons of the American Legion, along with a former member of the American Legion Riders. Dale’s proudest accomplishment was receiving his titles of “Papa,” “Pop pop,” and “Ol-pa” and supporting all of his grandchildren and great grandchildren’s activities and accomplishments. Dale had a sense of humor, a ready smile and hug, a twinkle in his eye, and a pocket full of candy. He was truly unique and will be dearly missed. Dale left specific instructions for Todd to now be in charge, please pray for him. The family wishes to express deep appreciation to Hospice of the Sacred Heart, especially Emma, and also Dr. Nicole Rosa. A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at the United Methodist Community Church, Great Bend, PA. Friends may call from 3-5 pm, prior to the service in the church. Should friends so desire, consider memorial contributions in his memory to a charity of your choice.
